Life Before Christ (Up to 2003)
Joshua Ziaina was born and raised in the south of France, in a Muslim family with Algerian roots. While he respected his parents' religion, Joshua always felt a void in his heart, as if something was missing in his life. This period was marked by a sense of dissatisfaction, despite his respect for his parents’ faith.
The Encounter with Jesus (2003)
In 2003, Joshua lived one of the worst years of his life, and it was also the year he first heard about Jesus. At the age of 22, a very close friend spoke to him about Jesus and why He died on the cross. This was the first time he had ever heard such a powerful message. On June 12, 2003, at midnight, Joshua was in his room crying out to God, and that very night, Jesus appeared to him in a powerful vision. It was in that moment, in a small village in the south of France, that Joshua gave his life to Jesus.
Ministry and the Call to Evangelize (2003 - Present)
After his conversion, Joshua moved to London in July 2003 to learn English. Without knowing anyone and with limited English, he started evangelizing every night on the streets of Tottenham in North London. Soon after, he found a French-speaking church in the heart of London called Pierres Vivantes, where he stayed for 17 years. There, he served as the Evangelism leader for 14 years, during which God used him to grow in faith and stir up the church for evangelism. After 17 years of preparation, Joshua, along with his loving wife Deborah, founded Lighthouse Ministry on September 21, 2018. The ministry is dedicated to mobilizing God’s army for the end-time harvest.
